Creeting Road East / A14 Link Road Closure

The following road closures are planned.
1 - 19th September - 3rd October (approx) - Mill Street link between Creeting Road East and A14 will be closed. No access to A14.
2 - 3rd October (immediately following Mill St closure) - 4th November - Creeting Road East on Stowmarket side on Mill Street. There will be no access between Creeting St Mary and Cedars Park via Creeting Road but there will be access to and from A14 from Creeting direction.

Welcome to Creeting St Mary

We have given the village website a new look. All the usual features are still here but we have made it easier for you to see the latest dates from the diary and the most recent news. There is a section for the Parish Council where you can easily see the latest minutes and agenda with earlier documents also available to view.

We hope you find the site useful and welcome any suggestions to help make it even better.

The village school is currently consulting on plans to extend its age range to Year 6 and link up with Debenham High School as one of its feeder primary schools. Full details of the proposal is available for download on the school website

Taxi Bus Service

Suffolk Links provides transport to Stowmarket, Needham Market and other local villages to allow you to connect with buses and trains going further afield. The service runs from 0700 to 1900 hours, Monday to Saturday. To book, on a first-come-first-served basis ring 01449 616000. Journeys will be charged like bus fares with the same concessions available. To book the service ring between 0800 and 1300 hours Monday to Friday; you can book up to a week in advance and make a maximum of two bookings at one time.

Creeting St Mary Allotments

The contact for any queries regarding the lease of an allotment plot in the village should be addressed to Stan Grimwood, tel. 01449 720736. Rental is due from 1^st October each year and cost is dependent on plot size. Currently there is a waiting list but priority is given to CSM residents
